Madrid Art Alive is the result of its founders passion, Alicia Forneri and Alba, for the city of Madrid. With a deep background in art history and several years of experience as private guides, Alba and Alicia decided to create their own project in 2015, a project based in a very high quality of service and the dissemination of the city`s art and culture in an entertaining and fun way.
Alicia Forneri
She holds a BA in Art History and a Masters in Heritage and Museology by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After traveling throughout Europe and reside in different cities like London, Barcelona or Rome, where she definitely falls in love with art in all its forms, she settled permanently in Madrid to work as a cultural manager and private guide.
Alba
BA in Art History as well and researcher. After years of dedication in the field of research, she began working in an important exhibition hall. With extensive experience in conducting guided tours, she`s also involved in the educational activities of various state museums.
Pedro Jiménez
Bachelor in Art History and university specialist in Museology and Museography of Contemporary Art. He completed his training in London, and later on in San Francisco, where he enjoyed an internship in the educational department at the Museum of Modern Art in the city of California (SFMOMA). Back in Madrid he worked as an educator and tour guide in several museums in the capital and in the Official Guided Tour Service of the City Council. Passionate advocate of the close, dynamic and shared diffusion of art and culture.
